@justjoekeane Its the same hood as the JDM STI's except its not aluminum and the hood vents are a bit different design. Just like the newer American STI's, the hood scoop is for the TM Intercooler; which these don't have a turbo. Perfect canidates for WRX/STI swaps.

@tingles03 aerodynamics are your friend, the only way for true ram air induction through that hood would be for it to be placed backwards. and yes i own 2 of these cars so i do know that the scoop is utterly pointless regardless on the us models

@tingles03 The red scoob has a FMIC ( 0:06-0:07 sec). So the normal scoop doesn't work. This way, reversed, it sucks the engine heat out of the enginebay ;)
