R.I.P. Little Daisy ♥ (1998-2011)

I miss how I used to call Daisy's name and she'd come running to me from the other side of the garden. I miss chilling on my laptop while patting Daisy with my feet under the table. I open the door and expect her to rush in and run laps around the house, but nodoggy is there. I miss spying on her while she would sneak into our bedrooms when she knew she wasn't allowed to. I miss staring at her while she looked for a place to bury her chewy bone, and she wouldn't move until I "looked away" cos she didn't want to disclose her secret hiding spot. I miss watching her bathe in the sun or sit in the flower beds. I miss watching her watching me eat. I miss how she used to bang on the door in the middle of the night, and whine outside my bedroom window cos she wanted to play. I miss the way she would shake my hand when I say "shake"- I taught her that trick! I miss the way she used to walk beside me while I took the trash out at night, cos with her company I am not afraid of the dark. I hope she is enjoying doggy heaven with her sister Millie, with bones for her to chew on, tennis balls for her to fetch, towels to roll in, green grassy hills to run laps on, and blankets to hide under... I love you Daisy. Others may not understand when I say this, but you were my best companion, and you never judged me or left me alone. It was interesting how you were always able to pick up on my moods. I loved growing up with you. Thank you for all the happy memories. I wish you could understand what I'm saying.
