My cute lop eared bunny gets his first bath. He rarely gets a bath (only twice), and it has only been because he needed it. I am not cruel to my bunny; I know they do not need to be bathed regularly and should not be. But they do, on occasion, get a dirty bottom that needs to be cleaned. I used only water, no soap of any sort, and made sure he was placed in a warm room with no draft. Bathing a bunny, when done properly, WILL NOT harm a bunny.

  • @maddie98213

how much is a vet check up for aa bunny?

  • how do u hold ur rabbit upside down? im scrared to do that cuz if he starts kicking he will break his back

  • i had a bunny and i gave it baths when it got dirty but it had to be outside so i would sit outside and rub it dry..then he died of hypothermia.

then i got another one and i was scared to death to give it a bath, so while i was camping,my mom went home to find my bunny died of dehydration

i want another bunny, but i dont want to risk the life of another bunny so that makes me sad :(

  • @hobo1975 Rabbits live underground so.. hence then avoiding the rain lol

  • i suppose it rains in the wild?

  • Ooooh it's lovely.

  • @BALONY456 Um, your not completly right. My bunny has been completly wet like a million times (not really, lolz) and it does nothing. bunnies are like cats. they obth hate water, usually. And they can't die very easily from getting completly wet. and bunnies can get Amonia in the WINTER Not the spring or summer when it's very hot out!

  • If your rabbit is getting a wet butt, then you should address the problem. It is usually diet related. Normally rabbit turds are hard and dry. If this bunny is over producing cecotropes and they are not well formed, that is often a sign of bad gut flora or too rich a diet. You might try reducing pellets, reducing or eliminating greens or encourage eating more grass hay. I don't know your situation so I suggest a trip to an exotics vet. Exercise in important too.

but my cotton her ears are normal and small i think shes around 3 or 4 months idk
