Atlantic Coast S Gaugers ACSG Super 8 Layout at the Santa Train Show

The Atlantic Coast S Gaugers (ACSG) set up the Super 8 layout at the Santa Train Show at the North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer, NC during December 2011. The layout features three American Flyer trains running almost continuously along the figure 8 track. There is also a reversing handcar that runs on another, separate, track. Watch the mixed freight train with the walking brakeman on top of the box car, the cattle train with many cows going to market, and the passenger train. They each run automatically into the proper siding, and exit when the track ahead is clear. There are also buttons along the far side of the layout where the father and son can push the buttons and operate a variety of accessories. Fun for the whole family!
