@bugbait1 I guess those miniature represent mercenaries from the tilean city-state of Remas, which parrallels ancient Rome. Maybe they were using them as Imperial swordsmen.

this game would be alot better if it didn't take half a day to do one fight

@mcegghead97 Thanks to the new combat order rules, initiative takes precedence. You would be alright with either dark or high elves (wood elves have a nasty habit of just dying too quickly). However, the high elves have a fancy little rule called "Always strike first" which is pretty nice to have.

@mcegghead97 well you probably are goin with an elf army by now, but now that 8th edition is coming out dark elves are now even stronger than before.
i just switched over from vampire counts to dark elves and im liking it alot better. esspecially with 8th edition rules i played in a preview game at GW.
