Want those big forearms like Phil Heath... Well, unless you have the genetics of a greek God I don't think you'll get Mr. Heath's Forearms -BUT, that doesn't mean you can't build yourself some nice looking lower arm muscle MAYNE!

  • hey what part of ireland are you from?

  • @MarkOHVevo

    South-West. A place called 'Kerry'

  • @NewDayFitness Oh cool im from Cork . Can you give me some tips on foods i should eat to get energy?

  • @MarkOHVevo

For energy you could use a pre-workout, God knows there are tons of em' our there, so it comes down to preference on brand. You could also trying using a Whey shake (1-1.5 scoops) and maybe 2-3 grams of creatine monohydrate pre-workout, like 20-40 mins before training.

As for food, complex carbs are whats going to give you sustainable energy in the gym. You have a lot of choices, rice, pasta, sweet potato etc.. Just make sure there either brown or wholegrain - get my gist?

  • hey man! you deserve way more views :) ok i have a question.. im 17 and live at home and its hard to get in all my meals because my parents buy all the food.. i can't get whey protein because it's more expensive than food in my country.. could you suggest a lot of foods i can get for protein and carbs that are relatively cheap?

  • @mvpmuch1992 I'm going to try and make a video tomorrow on this question. But just to give you a quick run-down. Protein: Milk Chicken Breast Steak Fish Wholegrain Bread (Yep bread, there is 4g of protein PER slice in some healthy options) Cheese Beef etc... Carbs: Wholegrain pasta Rice (Brown or White, not a big difference between em') Wholegrain Bread Oatmeal Again, this is just a quick note, I want to dive into this topic in a video tomorrow. Thanks for the question!

  • @NewDayFitness Yeah i'm taking creatin with whey protein right now

  • When I started training, my forearms where not strong enough for my deadlifts, so I did wristcurls once a week and just did as many reps as I could manage on the deadlifts without straps. After about 2-3 months my forearm strength increased to the point where I could do the full rep count for the deadlifts. Alternate grip on the bar helps too.

  • mirin them Irish genetics, looking solid

  • @NewDayFitness county kerry? been there

  • @mvpmuch1992 beans milk powder fish chicken breast beef eggs oats shreaded wheat wolegrain bread, cottage cheese milk
