I know this sounds like a REALLY noobie question. I just got this camera, and im trying to make sure, which picture quality is the best? 12M 4:3, 8M 16:9, or 2M 16:9?

@Interlay 12MP is best. That will capture the most information and you can always crop it down if you want to.

@2009thread1 You can always crop a 12MP 4:3 image to 16:9, if so desired, but you can't expand an 8MP 16:9 image to 12MP.
