2011 Holiday Boat Parade, "Twinkle in Tampa Bay" (Dec. 23rd, view from Curtis Hixon Park)

The 2011 Holiday Boat Parade, Twinkle in Tampa Bay, as seen from Curtis Hixon Park in downtown Tampa, Florida on December 23rd, 2011. This is the second and final parade of the season. This parade featured some different boats than the previous parade.

This year the parade traveled in the opposite direction it usually goes. Rather than coming to Channelside first and then going to the Convention Center this year it ended at Channelside. (Therefore it arrived much later there.) This year the boats traveled to Curtis Hixon Park first, meaning the bridges must be up to allow the boats to get there. At the end of the video you can watch the Kennedy Boulevard Bridge rise for the StarShip II to come through.
