Whomever played General Soshkin did a great job in this segment. He can really sell the unrepentant Soviet hardliner character, one almost wonders how much of his dialog he believed.

The news reels are Real - although not based upon what the movie is telling people here. The interviews with so-called Prominent people involved are FAKE. They are actors playing parts that are, for the main part, imaginery. This is a MOVIE. This is a movie - Folks. It is FICTION. So all your Political jargon is silly and out of place. This movie, as FAKE as it is, is kinda neat. It shows how stupid decisions can lead to unexpected consequences when there are a few Nuts in charge. And some of the comments here are discussing this movie as if these are Facts of History. That is scary that some of you think this stuff actually happened as it is presented. I can film a car crash - call it Terrorism - but it is ONLY a car crash.
