I love this old-fashioned Jim Henson-ish puppet stuff more than any CGI they can throw at me. For instance, Spielberg ruined E.T. on DVD by putting in a CGI E.T. instead of the old puppet one. Yeah the old one looked like a puppet, but that was part of its charm.

also FYI: the two ewok movies happen before the Imperials have a military presence on Endor in Return, but after the events of Empire Strikes Back

it took me a while to realize that Wicket was in return of the jedi, he finds Leia after she crashes her speeder bike and takes her back to the village
