The Warrens, The Kaplins, Webber all have pretty suspicious motives, with the Kaplins the Lutzs could've submitted to and passed a polygraph test administered by the FBI and the CIA and overseen by a Federal Judge and they'd still cry hoax out of not wanting to admit that they were wrong. The Warrens won't admit their research is flawed and filled with potholes you could drive a semi through once again out of not wanting to admit they were wrong
Hahahahahaha, love the 'justin beiber analogy',lol. But yeah, you're spot-on.Some folk would sue if a fly landed on their Big Mac'.It's as if we expect to completely abdicate our sense of self-responsibility.Easy money. Now,where did I put my lawyer's phone number, lol.
@popazz1 I agree. Jim and Barbara crummy are the real hoax creators in my opinion. They knew the back story of the house. What better way to get rich quick, but to move into a famous house with reporters all over it. They just wanted a lawsuit just like if I got a shirt from justin beiber and wore it down the street and got gang raped by people for it. Does that justify sueing justin beiber for my stupidness? Hell no. I wore the damn shirt and why the hell am I wearing justin beiber's shirt?
I do believe that the Lutz are telling the truth to the extent... I also believe that Hollywood and writers tend to "exaggerate" things when they create good stories, i mean look at the "Exorcist" movie around the time, the original book was actual based on two different cases (actual possesions) one from 1928, and one from 1949, but that was to protect someone's identity.
@pmcmanus420 myserious means difficult or hard to understand. Katy Lutz died of Emphysema. Please fill in the blanks here as far as what is mysterious about that.
George Lutz states We made over a quarter of a million dollars.($250,000) from the book.. $160,000 from the movie. thats almost 1/2 a million dollars folks.. he then says."1/3 of that went to lawyers" so in total they made roughly $137,000.. Now that fat chick at 9:36 was quoted as saying," they gave up their investment of $80,000" Well there you have it folks.. she just said that it was an investment!!! Granted, making $136,000 off of $80,000 isn't great, but it is STILL a PROFIT!!
You'd all be terrified if you ever saw the real Amityville whore. Nasty old toothless hag oozing pus and breeding flies is enough to scare the crap out of anyone.

The thing is Mrs. Kaplan has no proof to back up anything she is saying. She is just as full of crap as the Lutz's and the Warrens
