Found on the planet Dro'Shizzar, the Xzaahm'bau (pronounced "zamba") are a carnivorous yet surprisingly intelligent and civilized sort of beast. They dwell in the vast deserts, making their homes beneath the surface where it never changes from 75 degrees. Their caverns are carved rather ornately by their claws, the craftsmanship rivaling that of ancient humanity. They prey upon creatures that fall into their sand traps or wander near their cave entrances for shelter. Only at dawn and dusk do they venture into the outside world.
This concept design was inspired by Star Wars' "Geonocian Warrior" from Episode II and a custom pokemon design by this artist: http://darksilvania.deviantart.com/
