I think DC Space was just the best spot for a good audience - performer show. Maybe 15 Minutes almost came close but Space ruled.

Un-fucking-believable show. This is from DC Space, 12-28-89. The opening bands were Autoclave (future Helium & Slant 6) and Holy Rollers. I made an audio tape of this but never knew a video existed. One of the top 3 STT shows I ever saw.
