Facebook's stock went public last week, and many small time investors thought that they were going to make a fortune by snagging shares in the IPO. But Wall Street had a different plan -- they knew this was going to be a hot stock with the public, but they also knew that the financial projections were way below what the average investors believed they were. So, in typical Wall Street fashion, they selectively released information to a few investors, which helped them make a ton of money when the stock was offered. Meanwhile, the average investor has continued watching their shares trend downward. Mike Papantonio talks about how Wall Street corruption has once again harmed mom and pop investors with attorney James Kauffman.

Sure, hes not perfect, But explain to me how rocky would get single payer or get banker prosecutions,

Single payer - he would still need a house and senate to vote on it, dems might, But corp dems and Repubs wont, so your going to have a long uphill fight that might cripple you as a pres.

Bankers - you need evidence, you need a Agen that will prosecute, you need to face the banks.

I hate the reality of it, I really want these things done, But I know its not some easy thing Rocky could do.

just consider that Obama had meetings with the pharma corporations long before the bill was written striking a sweet heart deal insuring them huge profits and market conditions..also consider that he took single payer off the table as well also consider he told the vulture capitalist he was only going after Mitt and their business of ripping off people was safe also consider he refused to prosecute the bankers and Bush also consider tax break cave ins military whistle blower prosecution etc etc

Wall Street should needs a fucking leash but all Romney can say is deregulate more more more. I thought we left England to get away from Kings and oppression and religious pressures. Why does history repeat again and again. Greed thats why.

I'm pretty sure that if Obama had the votes he would of been alot more progressive, but he didnt and had to get stuff done, he took steps forward and small victories where he could get it, and when change wasn't fast enough people bought into the foxnews/tea party hype and thought Obama was selling them out and didnt turn up in 2010, this just made the situation even worse.

Sure Obama isn't perfect, and I've got some issues with some stuff, But the idea that a rocky could do better? rubbish.

yes I know but we weren't talking about anybody in congress just the president.. but if people wake up and we can stop the rigging of the voting then maybe a progressive congress could be elected

    Your not getting my point,

Pick nearly any issue, Rocky doesnt get it done on his own, he needs votes in the senate/house and we know that anything that the repubs dont want to pass they will filibuster,

How will Rocky get anything done?

The Left has a huge problem in thinking that the Right will eventualy do the right thing, or that facts/logic matter, It doesnt Being right on an issue doesnt matter anymore,

Its about having the backing of people with money and clout to get it passed.
