Zachary Z3 Guitar Slap through Skank amp

I probably learned as much about guitar from listening to bass player Stanley Clarke as I did listening to any guitar player. I was messing around and recorded this little Stanley-esque tune based on one of his favorite chord patterns. Played on a Zachary Z3 guitar through the Zachary Skank amp.

Thanks... I like the clean channel on the Skank quite a lot. I have the Skank plugged into the speaker in my Mesa Boogie Rocket 44 which if I recall is a Black Shadow.

Does Zachary Guitars cater to Left Handed players? Does he make guitars that can be played in all genres? I'm a jazz influenced guitarist who has an ambient jazz project but I also play death metal and gore metal, and I'm searching for a guitar that can do it all.

Well, I wouldn't say he "caters" to anybody in particular but if he agreed to build you a guitar I don't think a lefty would be any problem.

@amusiathread Thank you! Man do I agree. I tried to sit through two of his video's and couldn't believe it. A bunch of fanning of the strings while trying to play some hendrix and trying to impress with his speed which would be ok if he was actually playing something. His sales technique is ridiculous, insults people intelligence by saying if you belong to a guitar forum or shop at GC then your an idiot and not worthy of his overpriced guitar.

I love the guitar and amp! And BTW, I own a Skank and the BB tele. I have played everything from Pink Floyd to Metalica with it and it sounds great! Don't be so bitter Swirly... Also, this amp sounds great with a greenback.

It took a leap of faith to buy a Zachary, but it was well worth it. I sold my Ibanez and don't regret it one bit. Enjoy!

.but i found an almost unanamous trend with shitty guitar builders, if they hate painting the wood with laquer or dont use a CNC machine, they suck. another example is patrick hufshcmid guitars. though he gets some pretty awesome pickups from Kent armstrong, get the pickups but stay away from his guitars, these people are just cowboys at the end of the day. people like this guy playing are too dumb to realise.

I play Ibanez, cheap, best RG shape, sound good, play good, look good, whole package. since theyre not custom theyre not the best but darn close. also sometimes "tr00" spelling isnt completely necessary..

This is actually the only video with a zachary guitar where I can say that I really like the tone.

You should probably do the rest of the demos for Alex. His demos are a much better advertisement for PRS than for himself, his tone and playing are simply abysmal, and he conveys the message that "If you don't buy a PRS, you'll end up sounding and playing like shit, just like me".

You're a good player though.
