:L. i belive you about the mud up to your knees. i usally go to bestival but i didnt go that year but my sister did and she came home and had mud caked up to thighs. mind you shes quite smll. but still :L. WOOPWOOP bestival 09!!
Bestival '08 was definetly one to remember. No one actually belives me that the mud went rite up to our knees even though i have my wellies to prove it. hope fully bestival '09 isn't as bad. been to robin hill a few times since 2008 and it seens to be clearing up quite well. Cant wait till september. See you all there.
haha i was there!! was such an awesome time!! see ya next time for sure!! and dont be silly you cant blame anyone for the mud, its natural, no one's fault.. i think your being a bit dramatic saying its changed the geography.... anyway see ya next year campas!!! xx
your comments certainly go to redress the 'Da Bank' view that all was fine and it was even sunny on the saturday - and the jolly jolly tone given out by the Bestval broadsheet. This little part of the Island has been given a real kicking and for my part in adding to that, i apologise
Having just returned after over a week at Bestival I am shocked at the state the place was left in. I helped set and run up an entire area. The mudslide followed the watercourse which fed into a pond and killed everything in it. When the mud sets, the geography will also have changed due to several thousand metric tonnes of mud sliding off hills down into a valley. The tents and other random shite will be landfilled. Dropping a crisp packet in a country park is an offence, why isn't this?
i know cant wait x

Darryld1 It's no ones fault that it rained.
How should it be an offence?
You can't send someone to prison because it rained. :P
