  • Outstanding performance but honestly why would someone ever want to play this after Chopin showed us what an etude could be?

  • @dave8ization maybe because this is easier and it's impossible to start with Chopin?

  • I was lucky to study with Vivien Slater in college.... did this etude for my junior recital -one of my favorites! She imbued these pieces ("exercises!") with such musicality, texture and joie de vivre. She was passionate about the importance of Czerny... and certainly does justice to his music. Thanks for posting all of these!
