The GDP Per Capita for Scotland is about $40,000 whereas in England it is $38,000. This, "we get less out of the UK" stuff is SNP crap.
Jobs are rubbish all over the UK at the moment as I'm sure you know. However, if we were independent we would be even worse off as we wouldn't be able to inject more money into the system like we can as a bigger country.
Scotland is a country and that is completely recognised. We have a capital FFS. The UK benefits us all. If we split up we'd all become weaker

And you think Scotland is successful in the UK... oh yeaa because theres jobs everywhere to be had! thats why theres more than 2 million people unemployed...
I dont HATE the UK... not at all.. i just understand that Scotland is a country.. not a county of the UK... the UK benefits one country only - England !

Look at the figures
Scottish GDP is $194 Billion and we have a population of about 5 million
The Rep of Ireland have got a similar GDP and population to us and look at how far in the shit they are. You, like me, may well have family over there and you will know how crap their economy is, how few jobs there are etc.
If we were independant RBS would have gone under and Scotland would have become absolutly broke as we would not have been able to bail it out.
Being in the UK makes us stronger.

@rootsie92 !! its not the british government that decides to end student fees... It was the SCOTTISH government with their POCKETMONEY from westminster...
If we became independent then we would not be given POCKETMONEY by london. We would have ALL our money that was made in Scotland to stay in Scotland... We could afford much more than free student fees my friend..
Try thinking in a new way even if its not what u want to hear or agree with...

That's just rubbish. For example if my kids decide to go to uni they will get in free whereas if my cousin's (who lives in England) kids want to go to uni he will have to find £20 K to let them go.
We seem to have a pretty good bargin. If we became independant things like that would no-longer be free.
The union is good for Scotland and the UK as a whole.
