Ms. Shrinka Agrawal who is a disciple of Pt. Rajeev Janardan is playing Raga Yaman on the Sitar in this video. Pt. Rajeev Janardan is an exponent of Imdadkhani Gharana (Imdad Khan, Inayat Khan, Bimalendu Mukharjee, Pt. Rajeev Janardan).

Yaman is a night raga. It is played to invoke devotion and peace. Some say Yaman literally means "yeh mann tumhen samarpit hai" or "my heart is dedicated to you."

Shrinka plays the sitar and is a student of Bharatnatyam and Kathak. She is also the Managing Director of a British Multinational. http://www.kamalashankar-rajeevjanardan.com/
