It seems that which ever water effect product I use, once cured it has that annoying concave meniscus forming along the edges taking away from the realism of the water itself (you don't really see water curving up along a river bed or lake, etc..) I saw this meniscus in the first crater example, but not as obvious in the other two finished examples. Is there a way of avoiding this with this Magic Water?

@MichToyCo That scenic composition at 3:00 is simply stunning. I'm having trouble find Magic Water in the UK though : ( .
We love you too!

PastaDNA - The Shell Holes are made of resin so a sealer was not required. If using a porous surface coat it with a very thin layer of Magic Water and let dry over nite.

Sorry if this sounds naive, I'm new to modelling water, but how or what do you use to seal on models the areas you want to use magic water on?

Good question! I seal it with a thin coat of Magic Water. Since it does not generate any heat at a depth of an inch or less I generally use a old or cheap brush that I can discard after use. If the area is very porous you mat have to apply 2 coats.
If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to drop me a line.
