When you hear or read the crazy lies from the lunatic right wing fringe you have to realize a few things. The Republicans have no interest in doing anything about health care, etc. Their policy about health care for the first 6 years of the Bush error, when they had complete control over everything, was the same as it always has been, "just don't get sick". That and protecting the insurance industry profits is what they're about. Then you have to go back and realize that their basic core belief system is based totally on lies.

On of their favorite lies is that raising the minimum wage will cause higher unemployment. The truth is that the minimum wage went up 3 times when President Clinton was in office but the unemployment rate went down every single quarter during that time. Over the years Americans have seen one right wing lie after another exposed but that never stops them. From their lies about the commie plot to fluoridate our public drinking supply, through their commie "domino theory" and so on, it's been nothing but one nutty lie after another. Most of the creeps that spread those insane lies do so because lie swapping is the only form of recreation they know.
