Britney Spears Melrose Shopping with Music Producer JR Rotem

HOLLYWOOD.TV caught up with Britney on Melrose this afternoon shopping on Melrose Avenue in Hollywood. There is a distinct aura of sadness surrounding her this week, no doubt due to the continuing custody struggles with ex-husband Kevin Federline involving their two children, Sean and Jayden. We sincerely hope that she follows through with her plans to undergo extensive rehabilitation at Eric Clapton's Crossroads Centre for rehabilitation in Antigua. Britney has evidently been floundering in her crossover from adolescent pop star to grounded adult woman, and her commitment to completing this program marks an excellent step in the right direction. Keep moving forward, Britney, we're with you and affirm your continued success, both spiritually and materially.

doesn't matter. 5 years ago she could have quit, she could have stopped putting herself out there so much if it was such a problem for her. and instead of freaking out in front of the papz, she could have done what most celebs actually do; freak out in the privacy of their home. she let the whole world know she was feeling like shit. i love brit but stop acting like she's not responsible for her actions and isn't to blame for anything that's happened in her life or what she's done.

i never 'compared' my own problems to hers, and excuse me what do you know about my life or what i've been through? i was simply saying i've been through hell like i imagine she has. you don't get to tell me my problems are smaller or less important than hers when you don't even know me. ALL i'm saying is she shouldn't drink smoke or do drugs as a parent cuz it's very irresponsible, and no matter what she's been through she's responsible for her own actions. that's true no matter what you say.

SHE got into this business, she chose this for herself, she wanted this since she was a child. if she felt like the papz ruined her life she would have quit this industry by now, she knows the press and media comes with the territory and SHE has decided to stay in the spotlight.
