@Shirazae "Hitting" it isn't that hard, but hitting it where you want consistently is quite difficult (or else everyone would do it). Also, hitting a 1-iron is very difficult to do consistently. Golf is all about accuracy and consistency. Of course nothing is "impossible" and with some practice you can get better. But, the fact of the matter is hitting a hybrid/fairway wood is (and always will be) easier than a 1-iron and it's not a smart play for an average player to take driver off the deck.
