I went to cal jam 2 at 16 yrs old. I was visiting my older brother. 350,00 people I thought was A lot of people untill I went to an american smoke -out. in D.C. At 500,000 people.4 years later. Bottom line is I love to rock still at 49 yrs old.

Man I loved the festivals back then. I remember watching this on T.V. I wanted so bad to go to California just to go to one of these festivals. A few years later I actually got to go to my first outdoor festival. Alice Cooper, Blue Oyster Cult, Black Sabbath. It was all festival seating. No one got hurt, everyone got along, Heck we could even bring in our own drinks as long as they were not glass bottles. When all the corp. sponsorship started, thats when the problems started.
My best friend, Pam, and I attended this just days before my 18th birthday. It was an amazing experience. She has since passed, and I miss her so much. This brought back some great memories.

I'm sad about Pam, but glad you have some great memories together. At the end life is no more than memories, hopefully, more good than bad.
My very best to you and Pam
Peace
