One of my favorite songs to play to. This is the 2nd posting of the video, now with better quality.

  • Although this 'looks' pretty tight to the original drum score,... it sounds to me like it actually is the original drum score.

  • If you watch and listen close enough you can hear some flams from not being spot on. I never intended for this to be spot on anyway. Listen to the fill right before the 2nd chorus - not on the record. It's also the same snare that Vinnie used to record this album. This was the first video I recorded and could have turned up my drum track a bit. It was the first take and I just posted what I had to hear the levels.

  • Excellent work brother keep it up!! Clean execution and technique too love it!!! Check my page out if you get a chance .Also don't dignify noobs like that guy who commented like that or the other nimrod .....they r not on ur level ,not even close .....Drum on buddy.

  • @speedyfeet814 Thanks for your support. I don't pay much mind to negative comments. There are tons of videos that I don't like on YouTube; the difference is that I never comment on them, simply out of respect. I'll check out your stuff and let know know what I think.

  • This is one hell of a song and you play it very well, but (and I mean no offense), it isn't really a showcase for a drummer, is it?

I mean, it's perhaps a deceptively simple drum track, but isn't the point in uploading clips like this to show off a little bit?

I have a feeling you could really "groove" if you wanted to, and it would be nice to see you let your hair down, for lack of a better phrase.

    Good job, though!

  • Check out some of my "fusion" videos if you're looking for more groove. Vinnie does groove pretty hard on this track though.

  • You know how I know this is truly a great cover?

I was in another tab and totally forgot I was watching a drum cover, just kicked back and enjoyed your playing.

...THAT is the point my friend.

    Great work!

  • very enjoyable,

  • Great job - very slick!

  • I had to play this song as part of my Drum-tech course, It's quite straight forward but there is something about it that makes it feel great to play! Lovely job there too my friend.

  • Hey there - great rendition of this. You have great feel and talent. If you get a chance, would love your thoughts on some of my stuff over at DrumHub. Cheers and great job again. Rob.

  • Nice work man. Just a little note, could you lower a little the song in background so your drum will came out a little more. For all the rest there's some "taste" in the execution! Keep rockin'!

  • Very nice. Can you shed any advice on what it would cost to buy a budget minded mic system/mixer etc to listen to myself practice on my 5 piece kit? Don't need anything extravagant. Only practice at home and never travel. I am sure that your system is top of the line. I would like to hear myself practice via a mic system. Thanks for the great video.

  • Very nice indeed! A definite to my favourites. Thanks :-)

  • this makes me want to keep practicing. thanks man u r seriously a top drummer

  • great job man u are a good drummer C:
