Otters on the River Cam - Week 3 Highlights

This footage of a European Otter (Lutra lutra) is from the River Cam in Gloucestershire and was taken using a simple battery powered Infra Red CCTV set up. Unlike the Trail Camera that I used before this set up also records sound. This is a compilation of some of visits recorded during the last week of August 2009. Unfortunately its lost some quality during the conversion / upload but I hope you like it.

I spent a whole year filming the otter in Tobermory on the isle of Mull for a film about our resident otter - our late resident otter. It was very difficult getting any night footage so this is really nice. I should have set up something like you did - great result and thanks for posting it.
