I just wanted to say thank you so much for writing this song! The first time I heard it I was listening to Klove! I was on my way to school and almost had to pull over because I was crying so hard!! I just kept thinking "this is my life"!! I went through the same thing growing up and it took me a long time to "forgive"!! But God has been so good to me and he helped me deal with the pain!! Thank you again for this beautiful song! I cant listen to it without bawling!!

I have tried to make things right with my dad. but it seems that everything that i try to talk to him it never works. I was just about to give up and quit trying when i heard this song.
