Part 2

This video shows boiling and pumping to the fermenters.

I did not show: the recipe, adding whilfloc/yeast nutrient, cleaning the mash tun, my clean in place routine, probably other valuable stuff also. It was more of a overview on the system.

  • I have had fermenters of all shapes and forms (buckets, carboys, conicals, ss vessels, kegs) I can not tell a difference between any of them in final beer(nor can the judges, I have a lot of medals from buckets in major comps). Right now until I get my walk in cooler finished, buckets are the easiest to store, clean and ferment in fridges.

    Thanks for the comments though.

  • Where did you get automated ball valves?

  • What did this system cost?

  • How would you like to make me one; )

What I don't get is you have an AWESOME system, yet ferment in a plastic bucket? I'd rather have a stainless conical before a great system since fermentation is the most important part. I could see a bucket for a Lambic though.

    Great work!
