Part 26 - We have finally returned to Serenia, and will attempt to unlock the waterwheel (that we could not previously move). It is the beginning of the end.

In closing, special thanks to Ubisoft for creating such a great game! Also, thanks to Cyan Worlds for creating the first few Myst games.

  • Is there a patch for the bubble delivery? I swear I am going bonkers trying to get it over without it popping.

  • @karaloyal Not that I know of. Mainly the Myst IV patches focus on stability, and other puzzles such as the Mangree. Nevertheless, I think I may have an idea of what may be going on.

For starters, it's highly recommended to use your journal and warp back to the beginning of Serenia / next to the book as seen in this video at 9:44 The reason for this, is that your water guide will more likely be in the location seen in this video.

  • @karaloyal As for catching a bubble, you will need to first hold down the left mouse button. With the bubble in your hand, keep holding the left mouse button down and always remember to be gentle with your movements. It's possible the bubble could burst otherwise. Once you are pointed in the direction you need to go, quickly release and click the left button again and keep it held down while you move between "frames" / the environment of Serenia.

  • @karaloyal Repeat and continue to move from frame to frame towards your destination.

However, please remember that if you move more than 4 times the bubble will burst. Therefore you need to plan your route as efficiently and directly as possible. Once you are face to face with your spirit guide, you must be quick to offer your gift and you will do so by left clicking the bubble on him. In closing, I hope this helps and if you have anymore questions please let me know. I would be glad to help!

  • have you ever gotten wind or fire?

  • Only water. From what I have read though, the game decides which element based on how much one has explored / done.

If this is true, it would mean fire is the hardest element to obtain followed by wind (medium difficulty). Basically, if you're an explorer by heart and want to see / experience most if not all the game offers, than you are a Child of Water. If you experience a certain amount of content, but not a good portion of it than your wind. Fire meaning a low score exploration wise.

  • @trozei123 (yes I know I'm replying to a year old comment). Yes, pretty much. I got Fire the other day (for the first time). Basically, do as little as possible (don't do Atrus' sound puzzle, don't see Yeesha's gecko, don't go hear her play the flute, etc...). Don't use Yeesha's amulet *at all*. Go only to Spire (for the color code), you can ignore Haven altogether *and* use the zip feature and hint map *as much* as you possibly can right up until you're assigned a spirit. That's how I got Fire.

  • @EllipticalRealm thanks again!

  • @EllipticalRealm Thanks - I finally got it done. lol. This game is tough as far as the puzzles go - from a brain level but even more from an agility level. Since I have a slow laptop it has been frustrating!

  • Is anyone else confounded by the Guardian's magically appearing and disappearing maps?

  • Good actress.

It's always good to see actors and actresses act as if they were living the moment - preimagining the events in their mind to display a natural personality.
