10mm is the ultimate small-arms round used by elite operators world-wide. Why? Because it's better than other cartridges in virtually every way: flies faster, hits harder, looks cooler.
10mm only has one downfall, in most cases it kicks like a donkey.
These mesh FMJ rounds are ideal for loading into magazines, wearing as jewelry, looking awesome, and just about anything else you think to do with them.
Unlike most bullets in SL, these babies are built using the exact real-world specification, so they are compatible with all technically accurate 10mm firearms.
Actually, the 10mm FMJ round isn't in much use ever since the MP5/10 kicked it (and the FBI switched to the .40 S&W). The 5.56mm NATO round in short-barrelled carbines (i.e., 14.5 inches long or less) has been the name of the game for operators, because of parts/ammo availability, familiarity with training, and its ability to fragment or pierce armour at short range.
However, the 10mm round does have its own advantages, if more people would be willing to try it.
