Thanks for your reply. Its good to know you have your sister so close to you. We adopted Kyden in February. She has 3 older brothers but they are 6, 10 and 12 so no one close enough in age to her that she might be that emotionally close too. What you said about taking a trip and hearing everyone talk about the visual things....Thats exactly what I was thinking about!! Alright then! Onward to Haiti :)

I play the violin too. I saw your video on The Puppet Show. You are very good. I think you should keep playing!

i thinKK that to be blind and to be able to play violin is really great. I mean, the fact that each and every single note on those strings have to be perfect [i`m a violin player 2 ..] and to be able to play them perfectly is an AWESOME gift.

Great job! 2 of my kids play violin and when my blind daughter gets older I am hoping she will want to play cello. I have a question for you. We were thinking of adopting (from Haiti) another blind child so our daughter would have a sibling like her to grow up with. Do you have any blind friends. Did you ever feel a need/want to have another blind family member that could see the world in the same way you do?

my sis says: Wow adopting that's great! I do have blind friends, some I have met over the years, and one that actually lives close by in the area. There were a couple times when I had wished someone could be blind with me, for instance when we go on trips people usually are talking about how something looks and somehow I feel a little left out, But I've grown used to it. However, since Ashley and I are so close, she really understands me I could sometimes swear she was going through some of the

same things that I went through. So I never really wanted another sibling that could go through the same thing, however, because we do a lot together I believe she DID go through some of the same things, only in a different way. SO I guess to answer your question, I think it would be great to have someone who is also blind. I knwo ash isn't blind but jus having someone else who understands is a blessing.
