Painting Our Lives

While I've ended up with a painting, the process shown here cannot be seen in the painting as it now is, nor will it be seen again. I could have hidden numeous layers, and that is what I seek to express here. What matters? The end result or the process? Personally, as I look at this video, I prefer some of what now lies hidden than what is revealed, but that is part of the joy.

ADDENDUM: I noticed as I looked at the painting that it runs clockwise, as water would down a plughole in the Southern hemisphere, and thought how odd, since I don't live there. Came and checked the video, and I've painted it anti clockwise, the way I would view the same thing here in the Northern hemisphere. No idea what that signifies, if anything, but it's interesting to me, so this video has shown me something. :)
