  • How does that amp run 2 of those subs and does it sound good. I have 2 kenwood excelon subs that are 600 watts rms but i wasnt sure if i was going to need another amp on top of the one i have i have the same amp as you do

  • It runs them very good. And the sound is very clean. So i've got nothing negativ to say about running 2 subs on one of these amps! :)

  • Does it ever kick out when your playing your bass at high volumes if not can you tell me how you keep it from kicking out

  • No, it dosen't kick out. It's the same pure bass at any volume. I did some small configurations at the EQ at my cd-player to keep it that way :) found out that i could adjust the volum of just the sub, and not the bass, so that the bass sound followed the volum better, if you understand?

  • Well, I've had some woofers, and this is one of the best i've had. The sound is very nice, and the bass is extreme if you do it right. I almost popped my backwindow in the car with this system, at a pretty low volum. I really recommend these woofers! :)

  • these subs r 700 watts RMS???

  • Yes, they are. But they can handle a lot more. Trust me! ;)

  • I can't find those subs any wear can u give me a hint on we're I can buy them....

  • This is a very "meaty" video. =p

  • Strange feedback for this video once again.

  • @AaronWallace Yea man this was over a year ago and i have a line driver and my gains are set reasonably so im not clipping out I dont have any of my old setup left i moved up in the world.

  • @kenwood1609 You mean clipping out? Your head unit becomes over-driven due to distortion. Turn it down, if you're clipping your head unit, it sounds like shit, no getting around it. Want more volume, use more/better amplifiers.

  • @kenwood1609 Try turning your gain down a lil bit. I don't know what you mean by kickin out but sounds like your over powerin it.

  • i have a cap on mine myself i have not had any issues. check your ground man the car i bought had a wire job from best buy info for everybody best buy wire jobs suck and swallow. they mounted my ground to a painted surface amps were cutting out all the time i rewired and made sure to find a good solid steel ground not painted no more issues.

  • the kenwood x1r runs 1200 rms watts perfect match to them subs.

  • my subs amp is blowing everything i throw at it right now i am asuming it has to be an internal issue so i got rid of it but yeah i have had all kenwood for 3 years now damn things throw alot of power. all them lame haters can just suck it lol. there obviously not rockford amps but they do just as goos and are lots cheaper. i want to order the excellon x1r amp 1200 rms watts cant wait to save up the dough lol.

  • I have had my KFC-W3011's for over 2 years running off a MASSIVE P1500.1 n i have had no probs with them! If you dont build the box right or your amps clipping real bad of course your gonna tear m up but you would do that with any sub.
