DANGER ZONE IS NOT ON THE DVD , THIS PERSON EDITED IT IN. ITS DEVO FREEDOM OF CHOICE ON THE DVD

"Cocaine is one hell of a drug" (I'm Rick James, bitch)

I think Anderson said in the commentary that Wahlberg actually crashed the car himself. Anyone else know if that's true? I'm too lazy to dig up my own DVD.

Since when did the movie "Top Gun" come out in the early 1980s?

Dangerzone was a hit in 1986 but this takes place in 1983 I think. A little goof? =)

@pointman913 Actually, on the DVD deleted scene, it starts with Fleetwood Mac's "Tusk" with the Becky and Jerome scene and then as Dirk is driving in the Vette, Devo's "Jerkin' Back and Forth" is playing and then abruptly stops once Dirk crashes into the phone pole.

LMFAO i love how he puts on the song from Top Gun. I mean, who HASN'T had a moment where they put a sweet ass song on while driving to look cool?
its the beginning of Tusk by Fleetwood Mac. On the DVD deleted scene Tusk is on the whole time, which makes sense since Tusk came out in 1979 and Danger Zone by Loggins came out in 1986

It's funny and everything, but PTA really made the right decision to not have it in the movie. I've seen all the deleted scenes, and I'm glad he cut all of them (even though you get to see Rollergirl nude one more time in one of them). The official cut of the movie is just perfect.
