People Tree organised an 830 people get-together to celebrate World Fair Trade Day in Japan. There was a Fair Trade market place with products ranging from Fair Trade bananas to fashion. Also Fair Trade fashion show, panel discussions with partners Sister Vineetha Francis from Assisi Garments and Shroff Self Help (India) and Archana Sharma from Shroff Self Help (India) and media friend, ex-editor-in-chief of Marie Claire, Yoshiko Ikoma. Safia Minney founder of People Tree, also launched her new book By Hand Fair Trade Fashion Agenda, published by Gentosha, in Japanese. Then there were the amazing taiko (Japanese drum) drumming performers Gocoo watch the next video!
