  • sam was a genius....a singular talent.....but so was reverend harris. sam learned how to sing in no small part by mimicking r h harris when sam sang with the que cees. gospellin - you post some COOL stuff! would love to meet your uncle in ocala. i live in orlando. can't imagine meeting a link to history.

  • How old was he at the time of this recording? My God, he sounds incredible and he had been singing since the late 1930's! ...Never Turn Back.

  • I believe he was probably in his early 70's??

  • My Uncle has all type of recording from R.H. He told my R.H was sick before he recored this album. Wow i cant wait to get his collection
