@jpbarry80 I think you and your teacher need teaching. The fact that you even think such a thing proves that your rather stupid. God help Canada if thats the level of teaching. Maybe you should try reading a little about the history of Ireland then you could make an informed comment. Im glad your family left Ireland way back then i think they done us Irish a huge favour.

They were naive to fight in WW1 FOR Irish independence which the British Empire promised and then reneged on. That's what happens when you try and support one ruthless, murdering Empire against another ruthless, murdering Empire. While the Irish rebels SOUGHT assistance from Germany in WW1, the British Loyalists in Ulster RECEIVED assistance from Germany.
