I used a VW-CLT1 on a non 3D camera (Panasonic SD700). And with some tweaking it works!

  • ......jesus, how did u record it on SD card ???????????

I thought it's possible only for live hdmi output ....

man, I need that fix quite badly :)

  • @VadimcoS

First you have to "fix" the VW-CLT1 lens. Because of two iron pins it won't fit the camera. What you have to do is remove those to iron pins (be carefull not to hard the lens).

After that...added the lens to your camera.

Because your camera is not 3D we have to do some manual settings.

    - don't remove the big cap (we have to calibrate the thing first)

    - turn 1080P50 recording ON!

    - switch to MANUAL mode

    - DISABLE image stabilization

    - turn on HELP Grid (#)

    - zoom in all the way!

  • @VadimcoS

    continue:

    - focus till you see the calibration image

    - use the three knobs on top op the lens to get everything centered and aligned!

    DONE!

    Start Filming!

    Edit and upload to youtube.

Use the following tags for the correct accept ratio: yt3d:aspect=8:9
