FF'ers at Reading... not the foo fighters

Rumours were flying about that FF'ers were infact Foo Fighters, and they would be playing a secret gig at Reading festival 2008.

Oh how wrong.

Thousands packed the tiny BBC Introducing stage, bottled the band for not being the foo's, booed, sat down, sat down backwards, raved facing away from the stage and had a mosh pit.

Crazy. And the band said it was the best crowd ever... Uh huh.

@JellybeanJingx No one is pissed off, you guys are just assholes, that's all. But it's dicks like that who go to see mainstream shit anyway. It's funny how people who are so dumb are also so snobby about music. I've seen FF'ers at Cockpit and Cardigan Arms, they put on a great live show and sure they don;t have some faux douchey artistic front, but then FF'ers stands for The Fucking Fuckers, so what do you expect. They're just loud and fun. Where as you are just loud and a dick.

@Spinkatron Weird, and i go to music festivals to enjoy the music, takes lots of drugs and dance with friends and other lovely people. I guess some people do go to just be assholes and cause a mess for the artists, the festival staff and other people who actually went to the stage because they wanted to see the band. Then again, some people are assholes whatever the situation, because it's a large portion of their personality.

@jp012886 Agreed, but deserve it not, they had it coming for being daft enough to call their band that. I was there at the time and it was a sad sight. When this band were finished, the next band got bottled too, as some had assumed that this band was the band before the FF'ers on the timetables.
