So, I re-released this for two reasons that I feel made this a ton better than it was before.

1. I managed to squeak a decent recording out of my Desktop, which you might have known by now, gives A LOT better sound quality than my laptop, which was really intended only for college work. So basically, this recording is miles better.

2. I guess I must have been rusty with MPC, because I hadn't thought of trying the above tempo gap. Needless to say, I think it sounds a lot better than the lower one.

Hopefully these two improvements made this better.

  • I can't compare it to the old one since you removed it... but it's good, so I'm assuming it's better than the other. Can't be specific though. :(

  • @DespairReigns Well, the only two things that are different is that it's not slow anymore and the bass is brought out a bit more.

  • @Rusty8984 to the point of some static

I always have to lower my volume to like 30 to 40% to avoid static when I'm recording unless it's a quieter low tempo piece (which I'll only go down to about 65%)

  • @balloon303 I don't notice any static (or at least none loud enough to be annoying). Maybe it's because I don't use headphones. I put it down to 75% which about what I always put it down to, but maybe something has changed since then. I'll try going lower next time.

  • Yea, you're "Rusty" alright....

    You're VERY Rusty...

  • 'I guess I must have been rusty with MPC'

Oh you and your puns :3

  • ah, a rerecording, i see. This recording definitely came out a lot better; the missing power is there. The swan-dog combo at 0:40 kinda made me flinch a bit, but the rest of the instruments were good. Gameboys in the intro fade out too quickly, though, and, IIRC, the gameboys in the first part of the main loop actually don't need to be faded out.

I realize I'm being quite picky about this, and i seem to be the only one.

  • I thought the other one was done at best, but this is 129409 times better with speed :D
