@powmful Oh yeah, I forgot about a round that can be set to detonate mid-air and therefore be used very effectively against infantry in cover. If I was given a choice, I'd go straight for the CG. Reliable and versatile.

@powmful Actually, among those 9 rounds you have smoke, illumination, antistructural, antipersonell and an anti-armour round capable of penetrating over 500mm of armour. And there's a new round with a bit less penetration but it's selfpropelled by a small rocketengine (If I'm not mistaken) and is designed to be effective against reactive armour.

Yeah but do you need all those 9 rounds, most of them are obsolete, only 1 of those the AT (FFV751, i think it is) rounds is good vs APC/IFV and the HEDP is good vs soldiers behind cover. And the FFV441B is good vs soldiers in the open, But the thermobarberic and the tandom-heat for the RPG-29 can be used in the same scenarios.

@powmful actually I think the CG is better, why? because the CG has 9 diffrent rounds it can fire, while the RPG 29 has 2. I am sure the RPG 29 is good, it has proven itself good in battle, but so has the CG. If I where the one to decide which AT my army would use i would choose the CG due to the one fact that it can fire so many diffrent rounds.

RPG-29 vs M3 Carl G?
What are your thoughts?
They have about the same effective range, projectiles travel at nearly the same speed also.

They sound so cool in the cold air!
How accurate is the weapon at 500 meters?

@markspence20xx The Carl Gustav can hit stationary targets effectively at up to 700 meters, and moving targets effectively at up to 400 meters. In other words it is very accurate. We hit our targets at 550 meters spot on.
