This is a short walkthrough about the setup and function of Imageline softwares Deckadance DJ software as a VST instrument hosted in Ableton Live. Deckadance is a two turntable DJ mixing system that operates as a standalone DJ system or as a VST in any compatible host software - Cubase - Ableton Live - Sonar etc...
With non VST hosting DAW softwares such as MOTU's Digital Performer or Apples Logic Studio you can run Deckadance as a standalone program and simply route the audio into your DAW of choice through soundflower(free from cycling 74') or an equivalent audio routing program
Deckadances internal midi routing options, both in standalon and as a VST allow you to dedicate your controllers as necessary to each software without having overlapping commands.
the setup and operation for standalone mode is identical to that of the VST mode with the one exception being the setup of the soundcard outputs and sample rate, these are setup in live when running as a VST.
A quick but thorough overview, nice video :) This is going to sound a little thick, but I don't understand how to actually use Deckadance in Ableton as a VST. I can't seem to get Ableton to recognise the program as a VST. Any suggestions?

@TwoTube2 - my best guess is to rescan your vst folder or try re installing Decadance.
