Yakima FlipSide Review DAMAGE TO BIKES HITCH PIN FAULTY

This video is my review of the Yakima FlipSide. This bike mount failed me after having it for one day of usage. It is a bad design and I'm uploading this to share with you and Yakima the problem with the design (but more of a warning to consumers as Yakima has other hitches with different designs). I found out they had a recall a year ago for similar pin problems. This may be a new issue as I just bought this rack from Amazon last week. My bikes are damaged because of this rack.

@SBITSdotBiz Its been three months. I was expecting something in 8 weeks. I did get a confirmation though that I will get a check the first of next month based on two estimates from two bike shops. I'll update this when its all closed. They did apologize for taking so long. As far as the bike rack, this initial model had defects and they were well aware of my issue. They didn't fight it... quite the contrary actually, they sent me a better bike rack right away.

Thanks for the video. I see Yakima recalled all the FlipSide racks with the red handled pin for a longer pin with a black handle a day after you posted your video. I just got one and it has the longer pin.
