A basic overview of one of the hardest positions to shoot a centerfire rifle in.

This position is great for practicing hand/eye co-ordination. If you can shoot well from this position, you will excel at any other position

  • im going to have to disagree with your technique. the way you do it is basically muscling the rifle and that causes inaccuracy in the standing position

  • @danthman114 There are better ways out there. I won't deny that.

  • thank god. i guess ive been doing it wrong!

    gimmi your opinion, Miller!

  • @jaybeesworld You are solid with your AR. I like those videos you put out. :)

  • @jaybeesworld Also, I like your AR setup. It's nice to see someone rockin and rollin with iron sights. :)

  • Thanks ever so much for this posting very useful. Thanking you again for the time and well thought out instruction process

  • That is one bad ass K98. How much did it run you without the scope set up?

  • Great video. Thanks Miller! I like keeping my trigger hand thumb to the right because it's easier for me to reach the hammer that way on my lever rifles

    stay safe, shoot straight!

  • @millerusaf so whats the proper placement on your shoulder right where ur arm and body meet or what

  • @1994naser kar 98 Germany used em since well when they designed it back in the 1890's but known for ww1 and ww2. a very good rifle indeed
