Jerry Cochrane Bat Chief for 38 years of service, and EMS Captain Scott Matheson 28 years of service were recently honored at a ceremony at Station one located in Boca Raton, Florida. This video was filmed at the City of Boca Raton Fire Rescue Service's ceremony. The ceremony was located at Station One in lovely Boca Raton, Florida. This film honors two outstanding firefighters that have served the citizens of Boca Raton, Florida for a combined 66 years. Battalion Chief Jerry Cochrane, (38 years of service), commented on his retirement and serving Local 1560. His comments on the future of BRFD Local 1560 should be seen by all members of Local 1560, City Administration Officials and Boca Raton residents. EMS Captain Scott Matheson reflects on his 28 years of service. Captain Ed Thompson presents a BRFD member collection/donation cash award to Jerry and Scott. To Jerry and Scott, who I had the honor of working with, may the Lord bless you with excellent health in your retirement. This film is dedicated to all the current members of BRFD Local 1560 and my fellow retirees. On a personal note, I send my deepest thanks to Local 1560 which helped secure pension benefits and employee benefits for all the members of BRFD.
