My planted tank. Flight of the betta fish.

45g tank, 130w lights ,filter xp4, Co2 setup. Fish: 3 Angels, 1 betta, 8 gold Tetra's 1 gold chinese algae eater. Plants: Dwarf sag,Cryptocoryne Wendtii ,Red tiger lotus, Red dwaf lily and Cryp Balansae.

@inhalingsounds I have bunch of ferts for the plants but I stop adding after a while. The plants seem do well with out. All the plants I have are pretty much easy care low light plants..

@ball t5 lighting baught from Catalina aquarium. They have very affordable light sets. CO2 kit baught from Dr.foster online . You can get CO2 tank any where. Rena filter works no problems agitating the plants.

The grass is dwarf sag you can buy it on eBay. Spreads fast.

WOW that's a nice tank! Have you ever had any problems with the Betta and the Angelfish? I would think from what I read Angels can be a little aggressive but I'm new to all this. I wish my 20g looked half as clean and beautiful as your tank. Great job !!! (jealous)

@Jagodamond Both Angel fish are very aggressive towards each other. But the betta fish they completely leave alone. I think the Angel fish cant figure out what the betta is, so they just leave the betta alone. Its a strange combo that seems to work for now.

i have just started my tank up recently i have 4 serpae tetra and 1 male Siamese, thinking to put some angels and others... but they mite nip the fins of the siamese hows your siamese and what do u recommend. great set up by the way.

@bobmanay thank you!! I have had no problems with my Angels messing with the betta at all.I believe the betta looks odd to the Angels and they just leave it alone. Watch out if you put tetras with the Angels, they will make food of them quick.

Nice tank! My bettas are weird. I tried placing my female with some gouramis, danios, rasboras and corys. Of all things, she attacked the corys. Now she's in her own 5g. My male crowntail betta is in a 10g tank. I tried putting a snail in his tank, and he attacked the snail, so I'm afraid to try anything else. Maybe a platy or something...
