Seriously M1? - The whole fight (including the commentators) was hilarious, not only the matchup - at least if you share my kind of humor.
Don't get me wrong - huge Fedor Fan, and I "respect" Monson too... (ya well, 2 people beating each other up :D) plus - Fedor looked sharp like a razor-blade, and landed some punches early (maybe that's the reason, Monson fought the rest of the fight with the pace of a turtle, only tried to hit Fedor twice? and did not land anything...)

@81tflores Watch some old Pride DVD's and you'll see how dominant Fedor was in his prim. Hell, just watch his fight against Big Nog, he ragdolled him.

@vexatuvex (cont.) Now, I'm not saying that he sucks or that he was never great, That would be ignorant,but Fedor lost 3 times in a row at Strikeforce. Now he had to fight Jeff Monson to win& get some confidence back. Thats fine.. he needed it. But don't sit there and discredit me or say I don't know anything b/c if you can't see this fight for what it was, the n believe what you want.. Fedor is "NOT BACK" Sorry to say it. Let him beat someone more legit & then you can say it!! Just my opinion.

@vexatuvex No, actually started getting into it April 7,2007 @ UFC 69 when it came to Houston for the first time. I admit that I'm no expert & these are just simply my opinions.. but I have tried my best to watch as many fights as possible on internet/youtube, dvd's, watch alot of UFC on Spike when they show marathons.. No, I wasn't watching during the pride days.. sorry, but from everything that I've watch & seen, I just don't see Fedor being as great as everyone makes him out to be.

Anyone got an english translation for the post fight? Fedor looked AWESOME tonight when do you even see him throw leg kicks! He seemed so calm and relaxed, LOVING his new style, its more cautious and careful
