At last a detailed video oh how to tie a plaid! The following video demonstrates how to correctly wear the pipers plaid which is also worn by drum majors when wearing the full dress uniform. How a drum major should tie and wear a plaid is explained by D/M Alistair Pether. Drum Major Pether is the drum major for the RAF (Royal Air Force) Halton Pipes and Drums. He is a graduate of the British army's Edinburgh Castle drum major's course, and has performed in the Edinburgh Tattoo, held in Scotland, several times.
