Today I talk about the holidays, and how we can get trapped into a mindset of "everything in moderation", even though we know that the items we're adding in moderation may lead to less than optimum health and results on our raw food lifestyle.

So, I've decided to officially change that saying to "Everything in moderation except leafy greens." You can have as many leafy greens as you WANT during the holidays or any time of year, and be doing just fine.

Check in today, and tell us how you're doing so far this holiday season.

  • Right on Bunny, people who fail at raw foods fail because they do not consume enough greens. Also eating to many nuts, seeds, and grains (which is a substitute for cooked food) Paul Nison failed because of nuts and seeds. Greens will take away not only cravings for sweets but also cooked food, and nuts and seeds. Any problem in the raw food diet can be fixed by just eating more greens. You are right on Bunny Berrie! It took me 12 years to figure this out.

  • Thank You for this vid!

  • I just read the comments and as with Dreadwitch, I too noticed you looked "more GLOWIE" :) -- if that's the correct term .... I am listening to you while deciding what to make for dinner and I liked what you said -- I just need to make sure to get my GREENS in. Truthfully, everything seems to fall in line when i do. Thanks for the inspiration. I'm going to go eat my veggies! Happy Holidays to you and your family...

  • are you having coconut water? just curious, as I am getting off all agave, honey, etc. and wondering...are you having NO fruit at all?

  • I went sugar-free for nearly 40 days many, many years ago and it changes your perspective. Walking down the candy isle at Target is like walking down a colored crack stand. I could see the lure and the energy coming off it, but you are just the best. Keep up with all you can. Stay strong and be free, darling!!

  • you look different today. healthier somehow =D and i typed that before you said you lost weight =^-^= and thats a great message. I feel so much healthier when i eat alot of greens but I don't think i am ready to go as green as i want to.. i just keep on failing. but I'm persistent, I will over come this. I just need more time to adjust. =^-^=

  • Raw Fu.....what happened to the magazine?
