Monty is a Hawk-Headed Parrot

Hawk Heads are a rare but wonderful pet. They come from the Amazon rainforest, from French Guyana to northern Brazil.
They have a bit of the wild jungle in them, as you can see in this clip. But they're also very sweet and are among the best parrots to own. They can be a bit noisy (disclaimer). Towards then end of the video Monty turns sweet and goes for some good scratch scratching.

I love how he displays like a Cockatoo will. You know by turning his head sideways he is making himself look bigger, he thinks. He is an awesome brave jungle fighter look at how he is brave enough to stand up to big old humans. A way cool Parrot deserves your respect and love.
